Pine Bluff offers a broad range of recreational activities. Numerous state and Corps of Engineers parks are located within close proximity with on-site camping, hiking and nature trails. The Arkansas River is a favorite for fishing, boating and water skiing. Lake Pine Bluff and Lake Langhofer are excellent fishing spots.

Fishing tournaments are very popular in Pine Bluff. The Budweiser Big Bass Classic draws more than 1,800 fishermen each July to fish the Arkansas River and its backwaters.

Each Labor Day weekend the Arkansas River National Drag Boat Races take place in Pine Bluff.

The region abounds in hunting opportunities with deer, duck, squirrel, turkey, quail and other game in abundance.

Pine Bluff is rich in baseball history. It hosts many amateur tournaments each summer such as the Babe Ruth World Series and the NAABT All Star Tournament.
